Double Celebration!

Obviously today is our day. It is our 4th anniversary, also I passed my driving license. I'm so looking forward for today since last week. Hopefully it will be a memorable ones. Sayang and I always finding reason to escape and be together, only the two of us. And today definitely is a day that we should spend time together, alone.

How fast time flies? Fast enough to make us realize it had been 4 years since we became husband and wife. Today, last four years, we had our Akad Nikah at a mosque near my mom's house and later a reception at my mom's. It was a lovely, intimate reception; which gathered all my aunts and uncles from my mom's side. Also with the presence of my late grandfather and my grandmother. In short, it was a great wedding.

And now, here we are, with 2 kids, promising job, nice house and great life, we are heading our family in good shape. Of course there was many bumps along the way, but we manage to move forward smoothly. the addition in our family members this year, bring more joy in our life. thanks Allah for all these.

Another reason for us to celebrate this year is that I passed my driving license. yup! I've been driving around before this with invalid driving license. Just ashamed to tell the story, so let me keep it to myself, ok? Hahaha...

So, off we went to TGIF Wangsa Walk for a dinner. It wasn't a romantic one, also nothing special with the menu. But we are happy that we can spend time together, on our special day. Here's some pictures of us:

However, there is one more thing happened today: Aaron downed with diarrhoea. Pity my little prince. Rashes developed at his private area and it gave him uneasy feeling. Thus, he can't stop crying. MakLong just afraid that anything happen to my kid, called me up when I was in the middle of the meeting, there is goes my half day leave. Haish. anyway, I'm grateful with Allah's gift to us. Alhamdullillah!

IFRC Day 1

I'm so sleepy now. So, I'm going to write in point form in order to make sure I'm not missing any important point:

1. I slept late yesterday. I can't remember why.

2. I can't pull myself up this morning. Ending up I woke up at 8.07am.

3. Today is my first day in International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent.

4. I was 5 minutes late to the office. My calculation was wronged. I thought Jalan Jelatek would be nice to me today, only to discover it was vice versa.

5. However, my excitement can't be hide. I was so happy making new friends, sitting at new place and receiving new laptop. Halo Lenovo! Also, I'm getting a new phone! Yippee!

6. I went to lunch with my colleagues, who happens to be are foreigners. It either they dunno that they are eating at a dirty and lousy place, or they have no choice, or I'm damn choosy. But I just hate the warung they brought me earlier today for lunch. Should bring them for the real Malaysian food.

7. I'm lost in translation. Seriously! the langua is totally different now. All the terms sounds too professional or to be exact, to nice to be true.

8. Sayang got his new effect. He had been browsing it last weekend at Bentley Mutiara Damansara and found it quite pricey compare to US market (duhhh!). Then he found a second hand ones. I dunno it will be as fast as getting it today. Anyway, glad that he is happy making noise in the house.

9. However, his gout really bites him hard. Chill k Sayang.

10. Take note people! Today is my beloved Mother's birthday! Alhamdullillah, she celebrates her 54th birthday in Tanah Suci Mekah. happy birthday Mama!

11. But Allah loves our maksu Boo more. She died today, as told by Farhan. I'm sorry, just quite hard to explain how important and meaningful she is in my family. 'Along sayang Boo sangat. Moga Allah jaga Boo baik-baik. Amin.'

Ok loves, enjoy this video clip as I'm so lazy to paste any pics. Cheers!

Surpise Visit

Another lazy Sunday. At least I woke earlier than Sayang. Hahaha... After a wild (?? after married, spending time /attending event and be back at 1 am is called wild night) night last night, we hardly open our eyes.

Fortunately, my brain woke earlier than the rest of my organs. Starting from next week, I can't expect myself to go to the office at 10 am or have a long breakfast or be back at 3pm. I have to go to normal office at normal hours. Thus, I can't run my groceries at anytime on any day, anymore!

Rushed to the market, I grabbed whatever I managed. And also bought roti canai for breakfast. I was quite surprise learning that the roti canai costs me only 90 cents. Though it is merely 10 cents cheaper than other roti canai, but it means a lot. Hehehe...

Sayang was frying maggi when I reached home. And Duri and I juggled preparing lunch for the family as I want to chill in the afternoon. Sayang's gout is still no sign of healing, plus now he is attacked by flu. So off to bed, Juma darling!

At 4.30 pm, the twins showed up with Ziela and Mamu. Great to see you guys! Ayin bought KFC, I did cucur ikan bilis also fried mee. Maleec and Aaron were happy seeing their uncles. I was happy too seeing my lil brothers, though it was just for few hours.

Hmm.. life has to goes on. How I wish we never have to grow up. Our parents won't grow old. But i still wanna marry Sayang.

Ok, I think I'm too sleepy now.. dok merepek tak abis.

11.11.11

Mak and ank yang malas nak bangun pagi

Nice date eh? I just love today's date. 11.11.11. Hehehe...

11.11.11- the last day I work with MilkADeal. It is sad to say goodbye, yet, I have to. It's for my own good. Lemme me tell you why it is damn hard to leave the company:
1. Shaun and Wilson are bosses that hard to get. They are very tolerable. They took me when I was 3 months pregnant. I lost their lappy and they didn't make it a hype. I lost my maid and they let me to stay unpaid leave for a month. And many more...

2. My colleagues are rare species. I found it is hard for me to make friend. yet still, Syira, Putri and Nadia fast became my great buddies. sayang dorang sangat2. Also the rest who are very competitive yet helpful.

Laptop yang kene bagi balik, all this while it became part-time Maleec's

3. I love what I was doing. Going out everyday, meeting new people, potential clients, also keeping the relationship with the currents one, are like cherry on top.

4. The flexi hours give me ample of time to do what I need to do and to do things that others can't do as they have to sit in their office. Lovely!

5. My office and home is quite a distance, giving me opportunity to have me-time while driving.

Birthday girl kelaparan
Of course I felt a bum when I have to say goodbye to everybody. But everything turns out well when I finally meet my bestie, Azah, tonight. She dropped by before fetching Farid, her husband, from Corus Hotel since it had been awhile we didn't meet, Sayang did a wonderful help to me. He went to fetch Farid so that I have lotsa time to catch up with witty Azah. yay! as usual, pasar malam did cook for us.

Al-Hijab was the movie for tonight. My rate: 2/10. sorry Pierre, try harder next time

Anugerah Skrin 2011 yang sucks!

It's Friday already? Huh! So fast...

Today I decided not to go to work. Heh! No, the office is not my father's, but yes, I treat it like my father's. Woke up quick early, I started my day quite early with tonnes of emails to send and reply. When to Bedok for breakfast with Sayang. Since it was raining, the usual jam at usual place took place. At 10am, we were all set to go to Klinik Setia.

'Dr. Susila datang petang la. Pukul 2 hingga 9. Puan datang balik nantilah.' Kepala hangguk dia. Dia ingat aku ni keje dok mai klinik dia je ke. But all those words only can be heard in my brain. It is confine by the hard skulls. Hehe.

Aaron got his shot at 3pm. Azabnya ada anak kecik. Maleec fell asleep when we were otw to the clinis. So I brought Aaron by myself and Duri waited in the car. Since Raya Haji is approaching, I will do my damn best to make sure all of us are not sick. Awal-awal lagi I dah suapkan Aaron ubat demam.

Next stop: Carrefour Wangsa Maju. Some quick groceries for us, also for Muaz. Yesterday Sayang and I went to rumah Gombak, to visit Muaz. I hate my mulut gatal. Shen he said he is lack of groceries, I quickly offered myself to get them for him. But now, I was damn lazy to pull up my butt. Nonetheless, I've promised him to brought the groceries. Hence...

Ok, lets lighten up a little with good news:) Rozana, the owner of Esso Sri Rampai told me that my muffin just left one. Quickly grabbing the opportunity, I made one batch of banana muffin. But 2 of them didn't go well.. Hmm... Sadness...

As all of us know, my parents and my parents-in-law are in Mecca, performing their Hajj. It had been few weeks that I didn't hear my father's voice. i called him. I stunned. His voice was different. I know, he is sick! Please don't try to fool me by saying he is fine. It shows them well that isn't.

All of them are going to Arafah tonight, to Ukuf. 'Ya Allah ya Tuhanku! Kau permudahkanlah haji mereka. Kau lindungilah mereka. Hanya padaMu aku meminta. Amin.'

Till then, see you again!

More Baking...

I am a forgetful person. I have to admit. Seriously, how many times I got angry with myself just because I’m a forgetful person. Today was just like another clumsy day for me. I forgot to bring my laptop charger. Damn! And the battery last for less than 30 minutes. I have many things to settle yet I can’t use my laptop. Ok, Plan B, I need you now.

I went to settle my personal issue at 8 am and it finished at 10 am. Then off I go to work. At 11.45am, I was on the road, back to my house. Thinking to take this advantage to settle other business issue, I went to The Face Studio to collect my cookies. The owner, Santhi, said that nobody buying my cookies. It’s ok. It wouldn’t make me down. It means that I have to worker harder, in finding the suitable place for it. Carrefour was my next destination to find the tray to bake muffin, also the container to put my cookies at Cosy Place Wangsa Maju. Took the picture of the container and bought some cooking ingredients, I went to the restaurant. Peter, the owner, was there. He tasted the cookies. ‘You bake this? Wow! Sedap eh.’ I was flattered. He is a chef, had worked at numerous restaurant worldwide and he complimented my cookies. Yay!

After the quick meeting, I went home and started baking muffins. Banana muffins with raisin was my first attempt to his restaurant. And I managed to have a little bit of rest before I went to fetch Sayang and the kids.
For dinner, simple dishes were on the table. Fried fish, sayur pucuk and ikan bilis goring cili api. And another batch of banana muffins for Esso Sri Rampai. Kung Fu Panda 2 was the movie for tonight. Till then, nites sweties.

Dating

Today is our dating day. It's about time to refresh our memories how to be intimate together, without thinking about the kids at home. Woke up with hungry tummy, we had a quick breakfast at Bedok with Maleec. Then, Maleec been dropped to kakak for us to get our face fix. Yesterday Sayang was making noise about his acne. So, I booked a slot for the two of us at Malacca Spa at 10am. Norish greeted us and without waiting, we were laying, ready to be pampered...

The full body massage was good. My tired legs deserved a great massage. The facial was just ok, not that great after all. But Sayang added on ear candling, to reduce his sinus. I don't know whether it works or not. And yesterday Norish mentioned about my cookies. Thus, I brought along the fresh one for her to put at her spa. So far, Malacca Spa helps me a lot in promoting my famous big chunk cookies.
Bertopeng
After our groceries shopping at Tesco Ampang, we decided to continue our dating to lunch. I've approached the owner of Cozy Place before and Sayang's friend did his son's birthday party at that place. But we never had the chance to dine there. So off we go to Cozy Place Wangsa Maju. I got myself the homemade burger while Sayang had some kind of noodles. It was a great catch up after busy with our own activities.

Cozy enough for you?

Me and my partner in crime:)

Evening, we stro;;ed down Chow Kit, seeking for birthday gift. I guessed he has so much thrilled in finding the right toys as much as hoping to find one for himself. Nothing much happened at night as all of us were tired. Tomorrow will be another working day. Haish....

Confuse, whether for the birthday boy or for him...

Daddy is Back!

It happens many times before, and it happened yesterday. I woke up damn early, though it was Saturday morning. Reason: Sayang is on the way back from Bangladesh. When I was in Kuwait, I hardly fall sleep and wake up at wee hour if it is the day that Sayang is coming back from rig. he always out station and I know he is safe, but still, I just can't wait to see him. Cos I miss him badly? Ahh... more than that.

He touched down at 8.10 am and I was happy to hear his voice again after a week he was away. I ate a bowl of laksa last night, so definitely I was hungry in the morning. But no, not this time. I need to see him first before I swallow anything into my tummy. Quickly bathe Maleec, we fetched Daddy at LRT Station. *Relieve* Now we can go and eat.

Can't take his eyes off his daddy!

After breakfast at Bedok, we went to Wangsa Walk. Apparently, I wasn't the only person who was excited to see Sayang. Maleec was running here and there, showing off to his Daddy. Unfortunately, it wasn't his best day. He tripped and his lips were swollen a little. Knowing Maleec, that wouldn't stop his naughtiness.

Manja with Daddy
Back home, I was happy receiving 2 sarees from Sayang. One in red and the other in black. Gosh! I just don't know what to do with those fabric. Lemme think and will update you guys on it, deal?

As night fall, pasar malam again cooked our dinner. And before I realised, Sayang fell asleep. Must be tired with his long journey. Haish!

Normal Day

Malas, malas, malas nyer nak bangun. I don't know why lately I feel so tired. Must be because I have to drive here and there and also to the fact that Sayang is not around. Yesterday, my appointment was scheduled at 10 am. Thus, I dok bergolek sakan on the bed, though it wasn't weekend. Suddenly I received a text message saying that the appointment brought forward to 9 am. Ha! Kelam kabut bagai bersiap, rushed to Keramat and rushed to the appointment.

While driving, my long lost cousin (giler drama, padahal baru sebulan tak jumpa) texted me, inviting me for lunch. Yay! Syiera wasn't around as she was bergumbira in KK. Patah kaki sekejap kat office. Sib baik my cousin ajak keluar. Lepak kat ofis jap, then kuar at almost 1pm.

Suraya, Imie's wife, apparently isn't only a cousin to me. She is my good friend as we know each other for quite sometimes. Also, her daughter, Anggun, is same age as Maleec, 2 weeks apart. We share lots of ups and downs together. So, meeting her is one of the most awaiting thingy to me. Heh!

After lunch at one of the restaurant (I always lepak here but I forgot the name), we went to Tesco for a quick shopping. I got Meleec his toilet seat. I need to get him to be diaperless! Huhu.

Kak Dilla was at Mak Long's when I reached there. While catching up, Hani and Abang Nizam arrived. As night curtain falling, I asked for permission to go home. Pasar malam cooked for us as I was so lazy to cook(or tired?).

I thought I wanna rest awhile by watching 'Horrible Bosses' movie, but I hardly open my eyes. Zzzzzz...

Oh yeah, Sayang is back!

Labaikallah Humma Labai

I don't know how to describe my happiness currently. At the same times, I'm wish more things would be better. Why I'm happy:

1. All my brothers are in my house now
The 4 of them arrived yesterday evening, prior to sending our parents to Mecca. It's the first time all of them at my house at one time.
2. I managed to send my parents to the airport
Alhamdullillah, Mama and Uncle arrived at Jeddah Airport at 10.20 pm Malaysia time. They departed from KLIA at 1+ pm. Everything went smoothly, as planned.
3. I met my old schoolmates
I met Aida! OMG! The last time I met her was like 10 years ago! OMG!

Things happened vice versa:

1. Met long lost aunt
One of the last person I wanna meet on earth.
2. My car's mirror damaged
Maleec was looking at his face till he lost his balance and he caught my mirror to rescue himself. There it goes my RM28!
3. Sayang isn't around
I miss him badly. I miss you darling. I miss you so much.
4. I miss my Dad
Yeah! I miss him too. I wish that anyone of us can accompany him to Mecca.

Yesterday, I decided not to go to the office since Mama said that adik-adik will be depart from SP in the morning. So, Maleec and I had a great breakfast at Bedok Corner, mother-and-son bonding time. Then, sent Maleec hoem and I went to do one little thing that I've postponed it forever. Hehehe. And later only I learned that my brothers are in between of coming to my house or going to Mak Ngah Zaiton's house. I was a little bit confuse as why suddenly she be in the picture? Whatever it is, I don't care as long as I can see my parents tonight.

Brothers arrived in the evening. After dinner, we went to Tabung Haji Kelana Jaya with Maleec. Maleec was so happy meeting his grandparents. I can see it clearly from his face.:) And my mother is one super glam lady. She is wearing Polo red loafer while other ladies just wear any goddamn shoes that they wouldn't regret if stolen. Her telekung is decorated with blings/ diamante. Hish! One stylo lady! Mama just learned that she can only carry 1 hand luggage. She carried, God knows how many hand luggage. Off she went up and back with a bag contained instant noodle, Ikea plastic ware-set, telekung and whatever else. We stayed a while and went off at around 11pm. When we were about to go, Maleec cried while saying goodbye to his grandparents. That brought tears to the corner of Mama's eyes.

Not finish there, Ayin decided to sleep at Mak Ngah Ton's house. Fine! Let us find the house. And yeah, it took PRETTY awhile to get there. Haish!

As not according to the plan, we started our journey at 6.30am in two separate car. Afiq with Fareez would straight to Tabung Haji, while Adik and I will get Ayin from that house and bring him to Tabung Haji. Awkward moment took place when we arrived at that house. My haggard aunt was at the gate when we arrived there. So I wentout to salam her. Her reaction was weird: she stared at me as if she was blind! Seriously. No joke. Hahaha. i just went out from the car and shook her hand, though it seemed like she did it half-heartedly. Whatever, you shit!

Maj Ngha Cheras was already there when we arrived. Mama and Uncle still preparing themselves. And what surprise me was that I met my old friend from KYS, Aida Mastura! Haha! She was sending her parents TOO!!

Before they entered the hall, Mama told us few important things that brought tears to my eyes:
1. Don't delay your solat
2. Take care of each other
3. Nothing can come between us

I can't hold myself anymore. Many times Mama left us for many days, going abroad. But this is different journey, different objective in different view. I'm happy on their behalf, but I'm scared of many things that are of course out of anybody's hand. Insyaallah they will have a safe journey to and thro.

We had breakfast at NZ and lunch at home. Around 3.30pm, I brought Maleec and Adik out to collect laundry. In the car, while Maleec was checking himself at the mirror, he lost his balance and almost fall on my gear. To save himself, he caught my mirror and the result of it: broken, needed to be replace asap! Haish!

Back home, Ayin told me that his girlfriend is coming. I just not so comfortable of having guest when my house is in mess. But I knew Ayin deeply hope that I let his girlfriend come to my house. Somehow or rather, it was ended up with her coming to my house. And Ayin was overjoyed, made him wanna treat us dinner. Meaning no cooking for dinner, just dine out at said Ali. Initially, Afiq planned to go back before Asar. But apparently, he was too tired to drive. Maleec was so happy with his uncles presence, make him hard to get his nap. In order to make him tired, they brought him to the swimming pool. And of course it works! He fall asleep within an hour after his bath. Hehe...

Here, enjoy our pictures of today and yesterday as I'm badly tired and sleepy. Nites:)

Tired

This post is the combo for 3 days: Saturday, Sunday & Monday. But first of all, I can't concentrate now as Maleec is making the sound of his fire engine. Ok, he is gone.

Saturday

Went to breakfast with Sayang and Maleec at one of our favourite breakfast place, Warung Danau Kota. I had Mee Jawa and they had Fried Mee. Later, we went here and there, searching for Sayang's last minute items. And reached home just enough to cook a cincai lunch before heading to Jalan Duta to fetch Apan. And rushed back hoem to have lunch together before sending Sayang to Sri Rampai LRT Station. Sobs! It had been awhile that he didn't travel, made me felt so lonely. Seriously, I was totally down on that day. Luckily Apan was around, that keep me busy. Around 530pm, kids and I headed to the swimming pool. The last time Maleec swam was wayyyy before I delivered Aaron. No wonder he forgot how to swim. It took him awhile before he warmed out and get around with water. Dinner was packed from pasar malam:) And we had a bunch of sweet buah mata kucing. Meowwwwww....
Sedap ya adik?

Sunday

(Tergendala sebentar sebab Aaron terjaga) Sayang didn't leave much cash to me. So basically I live on credit card. And it was such a lovely Sunday morning when I went to Tesco Ampang to do our weekly groceries shopping. While busy picking veggies, there was announcement that Tesco is facing some problem with major credit cards. Grrrrr! I was so damn piss off! I woke up early so that I won't get stuck with many people who wake up late! Then again, what can I do. So, plan changed, next location: Carrefour Wangsa Maju. And I finished getting my groceries in 30 minutes but ended up queuing for an hour. Grrr!!! Fortunately,  I didn't miss Melodi :)
Lunch was a bit simple: veggie TomYam, and fried chicken. Lazy? Yup! When Sayang not around, I lost my appetite. Hahaha.. Siunds cheesy? That's the truth. Haha... After lunch, I gained my energy (yeah!) and start baking banana muffin. It was nyum, seriously nyum! On the way of sending Apan, we stopped by Mak's house. Maid did a little bit of cleaning before heading to Jalan Duta. And Maleec swim again today. yay! At last he got his moves back! Seriously, it is one tired weekend. Oh ya! Sayang reached Dhaka very early in the morning. Say 12.30 am. And I woke up and saw his text message:)
He forgot his smooth move :p

Monday

Ahh! As usual, I dragged myself to work. After a quick catch up, with an upcoming campaign in Publika Solaris Dutamas, I'm busy. Syira wasn't feeling well. She had sore throat. Nad as usual, can't be early to the office on Monday. I headed home early as I have a meetingwith Esso Sri Rampai's owner. She agreed to let me put my cookies at her pump station. Also my muffin. So, I got myself some cuppies to make those muffins. And nothing much happen. Ok, I better get going. Wanna chat with Sayang. Nites:)

The picture is suck, but the taste is delicious:)

Normal Day

Today our day starts early. And I had a lovely nasi lemak bought at Keramat, on the to Mak Long's house. As usual, my breakfast spot will be at Devi's (but we call it Deris as the signboard isn't clear. Hehe) and usual breakfast buddy is Syira. Reach office, I acted like a supervisor, checking on their top's colour. In conjuction of breast cancer awareness, we decided to wear pink today. But I guess our Designer didn't read the email received late last night and ended up wearing black. Hahaha.

Work as usual, non-stop. We stopped for lunch at Ikea since today is the last day for Kian Howe. Well, I secretly (now it isn't a secret anymore) hated the Ikea's food. It is tasteless, too simple for that price. Well, now I know that i have to have the least expectation on food if I'm in Sweden.

My meeting today is somewhere at Jalan Kuching. She bakes muffin, but the great thing about her is that she creates her own circle and make it as if its a franchise. Smart! Check out muffins monster for those who wants to taste it or wanna amke some side income. Her house is awesome! It's big and nicely decorated. The owner, Ida, is a very soft spoken lady. I felt so rude with my huge and enthusiast voice whenever I opened my mouth.

Late at night, I accompany Sayang to his office as he has to do some last minute work before he fly to Bangladesh tomorrow. Life is good. Alhamdullillah:)

Gloomy Day

Today isn't the best day. It can be better. Well, not everyday you'll on top. Sometimes you are down the shithole. What you need to do is to climb up, back to the ground. I'm climbing still. Hasn't reach the ground. Hehe.

Anyway, I delivered my cookies to my third Spa today. It is The Face Beauty in Damansara Uptown. So many story behind this. The owner told me on Monday that she is available in her salon only on Wednesday. That happened on Monday night. With no material in the kitchen, I wasn't able to bake. So yesterday, I rushed to Ikea to get the jar and to Carrefour Wangsa Maju and got the ingredient. Reached home, I juggled between cooking and baking. Maleec as usual being so helpful by kacau me all the way. And some unwanted sparks appeared. Grrr...

While packaging, I just realized that the jar's opening wasn't big enough for my cookies to go through. Haish! Then I just packed it up and bought the jar today at Tesco Damansara Mutiara.

And I closed two deals today. Yay! And a new adventure will start very soon. Wait for it pretties!

Till then, good nite!

Halo World!

It has been since the last time I blogged. Well, to whoever read my blog before, I'm back. If this is the first time you come across my so-called-journal, WELCOME!

Lately, my life really on the fabulous lane. It is still a test for e, as Allah wanna test me how do I handle the situation when things happen as you wish. Whether I still remember him or not. Somehow, I thanks Him for my happiness. Hehe...

Anyway, today is a great day. No, it is not a Black Monday, like my usual Monday. The morning meeting was short. Then I headed to Devi's with my colleague, Nadiah Anwar. In the afternoon, I did a little shopping at Cat Whiskers Damansara Perdana. And after Zuhur, I headed to Tini's Spa in Ampang, delivering my famous cookies. And now I' back home with my lovely kids.

Here's what did I get at cat Whiskers:
off white lace singlet, pale pink cotton thighs, pale pink suede wedges,  tunic

Vanilla Cupcakes

Okay, I'm quite busy lately. But here I would like to share something that I WANT TO DO BADLY. Wish I have so much time to try this out! Huhu

Makes

24

Ingredients

  • 200g butter, softened
  • 1 3/4 cups (370g) caster sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups (405g) self-raising flour
  • 1 cup (250ml) milk
  • Butter frosting

  • 200g butter, softened
  • 6 cups (900g) icing sugar mixture
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) milk
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 24 1/3 cup (80ml) muffin pans with patty cases.
  2. Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla bean paste with an electric mixer. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat until just combined. Add the flour and milk in alternate batches and stir with a wooden spoon until just combined.
  3. Spoon mixture evenly among the patty cases. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. For the frosting, use an electric mixer to beat the butter until very pale. Gradually add the icing sugar while beating. Add the milk and beat until well combined.
  5. Divide frosting into small bowls and colour. Use a small palette knife or round-bladed knife to spread the icing.

Notes

  • Decorating tips:

  • Colour: Add colouring gradually until you've reached the desired shade. Paste colouring offers a greater variety of shades and a more intense hue than liquids. Butter that is very yellow will affect the colour; unsalted butter gives a paler base after beating.
  • Frosting: Ready-made fondant icing can be coloured by kneading in drops of liquid or paste colouring. Roll flat on a surface sprinkled with pure icing sugar and use a biscuit cutter to cut out circles. Secure with a dollop of jam

Lazy day

Saturday. Woke up a lil bit later than usual. Brought Maleec to breakfast at NZ. He was grumpy. Then, went to Ampang Puteri Specialist for check-up. Still grumpy. Good news: Adik's head dah pusing towards the right position. Later, back home as Maleec fell asleep. Till 5pm, nothing much I did. Then brought him to carpark to play with his car. At night went to pasar malam. I spent RM4.00 (1.2- fau fu fah, 1.8-popia, 1- keropok lekor). Malam, chat with hubby.

But I guess Juma had fun today. He went to Mangga Dua and other places in Jakarta. He experience riding Bajai where he paid extra because of his weight issue. And he bleed his knee because he can't get out from that Bajai! Hahaha!

Day 3 Juma in Jakarta

Nothing special happened today. Hubby is still in Jakarta. Putri is still in Vietnam. I'm still late to work. But yesterday gave me a little shock. Amer, one of our Milkmen, been terminated. I don't know the reason but I guess it must be because of his performance.

Today, I closed 1 more deal. It's a interior design consultation from Desigva. Great deal to me. But the owner, Vanessa, was so busy that she can't even have time to fill up the form. Thus I have to go to her office, again, and get the complete form from her. Then went to Taman Melawati for spa deal. The owner doesn't seem eager about that.

Hubby was there all along, temaning me at YM. As I reached home quite early, I managed to bring Maleec down to taman to play. But bibik really spoiled my day. Entahlah. Dah tahu I marah, baru nak buat elok-elok.

At night, we had a video conference. Terubat rindu pada my sayang. He said that his room rate at Hotel Mulia, Jakarta is USD250 per day. Hmm.. to me, it is damn expensive. Well, enjoy your stay sayang! I don't care how much Halliburton is paying for that, as long as I receive my gold bracelet soon! Cheers!

Mother's Day and Day 1 Daddy In Jakarta

First and foremost, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MAMA! You are my best friend forever that nobody can ever replace you. Thanks for being such a great mom to me, mother. I love you endlessly!

Ok, let me update what happen today. Everything seems to happen fast till hubby aboard KLIA Express. We woke at 9 am and had breakfast at NZ Wangsa Walk. Back home, he continued packing. Later, we headed to KL Sentral via LRT train. Maleec, of course, the most excited person. His became over-reacted when another choo choo passed us by. Hahaha.. His expression is priceless!

And we waved daddy goodbye at KL Sentral before enjoying our lunch at KLCC KFC. Then I got myself a body lotion from my favorite Mark & Spencer. Maleec was asleep when we reached home. Thus I quickly ran to Wangsa Walk to change my BB. Back home, we waited for Maleec to wake up and joined Kak Zakiah's son birthday party. The food, as usual, was marvellous. And Kak Zakiah made a cake for his beloved youngest son in a shape of ball, to honour his interest in football.

Then, time flies slowly. I miss my hubby badly. I miss you, Yang. Rindu sangat. And at 10.05 pm, my wait ended when I received THE call. Huhu.. Rindu sangat. And now I'm waiting for him to come online.

Goodnite, pretties!

Frappucino and Bumper

Rain made me late to the office, again. I blame the rain. I reached my office at 9.00 am, half an hour late. Luckily Shaun was in a good mood. And I wasn't the latest. Yay!

Had my meeting at Bandar Sri Damansara Club House with a tennis coach. Hopefully a good deal will come out soon!

During lunch time, I parked my car in front of the office gate. And since my car is the nearest to the office, all of us (Putri, Alan, Syira, Wirda and I) went to lunch with my car. But Putri was the one who drove it, since I was so exhausted. Hehe. Please bear with this pregnant lady ya! At one of the traffic light, while all of us happily chatting in the car, a big bang hit my car at the back. All of our head turned back and saw Wilson behind the wheel. Wilson, my dear boss, just hit my bumper!! Huargghhh!!! I was so shocked to be angry or whatever the feeling that I supposed to feel. Plus I wasn't mad because I know the person who hit the car personally. And the most important thing is I know that the person can pay for it. Hahahaha!

After checking the car at a workshop in Kepong, I headed back to Wangsa Maju. And to chill up, hubby and I lepak at Starbuck, enjoying our Frappucino, at half price.

Kate Middleton and BB

Kate Middleton today became The Duchess of Cambridge. Congratulations to the newly wed couple. Cantik sangat her wedding dress, done by Alexander McQueen. It is so simple yet elegant. Prince William looked dashing, as usual, but he has to do something with his almost-bald head. Anyway, I don't know why I'm so keen on this royal wedding. Anybody has the same feeling as I do?

Today I didn't enter office at all since I have few appointments in KL itself. it is good to be at home. And I managed to wash my car and did a quick groceries shopping before I fetch hubby. And at night, we went to Wangsa Walk to get my longing smartphone, BB!

Yay! Thanks hubby!

Maleec Ismael Is 2-Year-Old!

Yesterday Maleec turned 2. Happy Birthday anak sayang. At first, I thought of buying some Wondermilk's cupcakes. But hubby said it is such a waste. So, after we think awhile, HE made the decision to celebrate it at Wangsa Walk A&W after dinner. It was fun though I felt wasn't comfortable with my tummy. Yelah... 7 months preggy. What do you expect.

Oh! Btw, Maleec got a pressie from his Atuk and Wan. It is a CRANE. And as usual, nobody can touch it except him. KEDEK! Uwek!

Ok, enjoy the pics below!

Reason to Cabut from Office

Today is the starter day for this week. Woke up at usual hour. Nothing much different. Jam at normal roads. Arrived in the office just to find out that my maid forgot to put it the computer charger in my bag. Damn! Ok, chill. Breath in, breath out. Relax. And thanks to Abel and Putri for letting me use their lappie.

Morning meeting went like usual. Jolla, who is suppose give presentation, was still on her way to the office. It was 9.20 am when she arrived and Shaun can't contain his anger anymore. 'wah! So early. Can't come later than this?' Oh my God! I was so damn scared. My boss naik angin, again! Goodness! Baik I cabut cepat.

And luckily enough that today I have 3 appointments. So at 1030am I cabut oledi.

Oh! My feet can't carry my heavy body in heels anymore. So this will be my favorite shoes till I deliver.

Maleec Lovely Hair

Maleec was awake when I sent him to mak's today. It was fun layaning him in the car; with the buses, cranes and lorries. And work was hectic as usual. But I was so looking forward to get home to cook daging masak merah.

Reached mak's house, I was welcomed with a shock. My son's hair been trimmed! And of course not in the way I like! Damn. I was so shaking while driving back home. I just can't contained myself and broke into tears. Luckily Azah was there to listen to me. It was nothing but a dissapointment. I was so sad towards my in-laws. Can't they have more respect towards me? I'm his mother and still alive. Can't they call me up and let me know and ask my permission? Damn!

I went back with no mood to cook. But hubby insisted to still have daging masak merah. I talked to him, nicely and calmly on what I felt about his parents. Hopefully he will convey my dissapointment. I hate to be treated like that! :(

*Spoil my weekend je...*

Situation 1

Adik: Mama nak apa bila adik dapat gaji nanti? Facial ke, belanja makan?
Mama: Mama wants both.
Adik: Uncle pulak, nak apa?
Uncle: Dapat gaji tu dulu....

Situation 2

Bibik: Maleec, jom mandi
Maleec is watching his favorite Timmy Time at Mummy's lappy
Maleec: Shhh.....

Situation 3

Me: Okay peeps! I'm off to KLCC. Enjoy your weekends!
Putri & Abel: Fatin! Tomorrow is Friday la!

Situation 4

Daddy: Maleec! Put back my toner! what are you doing with my toner?!
Maleec walked towards Mummy with a piece of cotton and scrub his face, just as what Daddy does daily.

Thursday Morning

My day starts as like other days. Maleec was right beside me when I opened my eyes. Can't recall when he climbed up our bed and snuggled to the middle of us.
But he was wide awake when I sent him to mak's. That's what brought tears to my heart. It was so painful looking at him waving at me. How I wish I don't have to go to work. How I wish I can take care of him by myself. It is sad when other people spend longer time with him compare to you.
That's the dilemma that most of the working mothers facing nowadays. And again, we go out there to find Halal rezeki. Insya Allah, He will always be there for us.
Be strong!

Fatini Izyan Zulkifli's Blog

Halo people out there! Halo to all of you who might know me personally or just  pass by this blog. Welcome to my blog. Frankly this is not my first blog. But I hope this blog will have longer lifetime compare to my other blogs. Hehe....

A lil introduction about me. I'm married with a son. And currently is carrying another one. I have a loving husband, who is my best friend. We are nice towards each other most of the time, but sometimes, of course, we do screams at each other too. Haha.

My son, Maleec Ismael, whom we always call him Maleec is such an adorable son. Memang manja habis as we always spoil him. But since he is going to be a big brother soon, we slowly teach him to be more independent. Thus, this hurt him a little as not all his requests been full fill.

I might sound a  boring rigid, because that's just me. Sorry if this blog bore you. Its just a place for me to express what happen in my life... daily.

Enjoice!
