Double Celebration!

Obviously today is our day. It is our 4th anniversary, also I passed my driving license. I'm so looking forward for today since last week. Hopefully it will be a memorable ones. Sayang and I always finding reason to escape and be together, only the two of us. And today definitely is a day that we should spend time together, alone.

How fast time flies? Fast enough to make us realize it had been 4 years since we became husband and wife. Today, last four years, we had our Akad Nikah at a mosque near my mom's house and later a reception at my mom's. It was a lovely, intimate reception; which gathered all my aunts and uncles from my mom's side. Also with the presence of my late grandfather and my grandmother. In short, it was a great wedding.

And now, here we are, with 2 kids, promising job, nice house and great life, we are heading our family in good shape. Of course there was many bumps along the way, but we manage to move forward smoothly. the addition in our family members this year, bring more joy in our life. thanks Allah for all these.

Another reason for us to celebrate this year is that I passed my driving license. yup! I've been driving around before this with invalid driving license. Just ashamed to tell the story, so let me keep it to myself, ok? Hahaha...

So, off we went to TGIF Wangsa Walk for a dinner. It wasn't a romantic one, also nothing special with the menu. But we are happy that we can spend time together, on our special day. Here's some pictures of us:

However, there is one more thing happened today: Aaron downed with diarrhoea. Pity my little prince. Rashes developed at his private area and it gave him uneasy feeling. Thus, he can't stop crying. MakLong just afraid that anything happen to my kid, called me up when I was in the middle of the meeting, there is goes my half day leave. Haish. anyway, I'm grateful with Allah's gift to us. Alhamdullillah!

IFRC Day 1

I'm so sleepy now. So, I'm going to write in point form in order to make sure I'm not missing any important point:

1. I slept late yesterday. I can't remember why.

2. I can't pull myself up this morning. Ending up I woke up at 8.07am.

3. Today is my first day in International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent.

4. I was 5 minutes late to the office. My calculation was wronged. I thought Jalan Jelatek would be nice to me today, only to discover it was vice versa.

5. However, my excitement can't be hide. I was so happy making new friends, sitting at new place and receiving new laptop. Halo Lenovo! Also, I'm getting a new phone! Yippee!

6. I went to lunch with my colleagues, who happens to be are foreigners. It either they dunno that they are eating at a dirty and lousy place, or they have no choice, or I'm damn choosy. But I just hate the warung they brought me earlier today for lunch. Should bring them for the real Malaysian food.

7. I'm lost in translation. Seriously! the langua is totally different now. All the terms sounds too professional or to be exact, to nice to be true.

8. Sayang got his new effect. He had been browsing it last weekend at Bentley Mutiara Damansara and found it quite pricey compare to US market (duhhh!). Then he found a second hand ones. I dunno it will be as fast as getting it today. Anyway, glad that he is happy making noise in the house.

9. However, his gout really bites him hard. Chill k Sayang.

10. Take note people! Today is my beloved Mother's birthday! Alhamdullillah, she celebrates her 54th birthday in Tanah Suci Mekah. happy birthday Mama!

11. But Allah loves our maksu Boo more. She died today, as told by Farhan. I'm sorry, just quite hard to explain how important and meaningful she is in my family. 'Along sayang Boo sangat. Moga Allah jaga Boo baik-baik. Amin.'

Ok loves, enjoy this video clip as I'm so lazy to paste any pics. Cheers!

Surpise Visit

Another lazy Sunday. At least I woke earlier than Sayang. Hahaha... After a wild (?? after married, spending time /attending event and be back at 1 am is called wild night) night last night, we hardly open our eyes.

Fortunately, my brain woke earlier than the rest of my organs. Starting from next week, I can't expect myself to go to the office at 10 am or have a long breakfast or be back at 3pm. I have to go to normal office at normal hours. Thus, I can't run my groceries at anytime on any day, anymore!

Rushed to the market, I grabbed whatever I managed. And also bought roti canai for breakfast. I was quite surprise learning that the roti canai costs me only 90 cents. Though it is merely 10 cents cheaper than other roti canai, but it means a lot. Hehehe...

Sayang was frying maggi when I reached home. And Duri and I juggled preparing lunch for the family as I want to chill in the afternoon. Sayang's gout is still no sign of healing, plus now he is attacked by flu. So off to bed, Juma darling!

At 4.30 pm, the twins showed up with Ziela and Mamu. Great to see you guys! Ayin bought KFC, I did cucur ikan bilis also fried mee. Maleec and Aaron were happy seeing their uncles. I was happy too seeing my lil brothers, though it was just for few hours.

Hmm.. life has to goes on. How I wish we never have to grow up. Our parents won't grow old. But i still wanna marry Sayang.

Ok, I think I'm too sleepy now.. dok merepek tak abis.

11.11.11

Mak and ank yang malas nak bangun pagi

Nice date eh? I just love today's date. 11.11.11. Hehehe...

11.11.11- the last day I work with MilkADeal. It is sad to say goodbye, yet, I have to. It's for my own good. Lemme me tell you why it is damn hard to leave the company:
1. Shaun and Wilson are bosses that hard to get. They are very tolerable. They took me when I was 3 months pregnant. I lost their lappy and they didn't make it a hype. I lost my maid and they let me to stay unpaid leave for a month. And many more...

2. My colleagues are rare species. I found it is hard for me to make friend. yet still, Syira, Putri and Nadia fast became my great buddies. sayang dorang sangat2. Also the rest who are very competitive yet helpful.

Laptop yang kene bagi balik, all this while it became part-time Maleec's

3. I love what I was doing. Going out everyday, meeting new people, potential clients, also keeping the relationship with the currents one, are like cherry on top.

4. The flexi hours give me ample of time to do what I need to do and to do things that others can't do as they have to sit in their office. Lovely!

5. My office and home is quite a distance, giving me opportunity to have me-time while driving.

Birthday girl kelaparan
Of course I felt a bum when I have to say goodbye to everybody. But everything turns out well when I finally meet my bestie, Azah, tonight. She dropped by before fetching Farid, her husband, from Corus Hotel since it had been awhile we didn't meet, Sayang did a wonderful help to me. He went to fetch Farid so that I have lotsa time to catch up with witty Azah. yay! as usual, pasar malam did cook for us.

Al-Hijab was the movie for tonight. My rate: 2/10. sorry Pierre, try harder next time

Anugerah Skrin 2011 yang sucks!

It's Friday already? Huh! So fast...

Today I decided not to go to work. Heh! No, the office is not my father's, but yes, I treat it like my father's. Woke up quick early, I started my day quite early with tonnes of emails to send and reply. When to Bedok for breakfast with Sayang. Since it was raining, the usual jam at usual place took place. At 10am, we were all set to go to Klinik Setia.

'Dr. Susila datang petang la. Pukul 2 hingga 9. Puan datang balik nantilah.' Kepala hangguk dia. Dia ingat aku ni keje dok mai klinik dia je ke. But all those words only can be heard in my brain. It is confine by the hard skulls. Hehe.

Aaron got his shot at 3pm. Azabnya ada anak kecik. Maleec fell asleep when we were otw to the clinis. So I brought Aaron by myself and Duri waited in the car. Since Raya Haji is approaching, I will do my damn best to make sure all of us are not sick. Awal-awal lagi I dah suapkan Aaron ubat demam.

Next stop: Carrefour Wangsa Maju. Some quick groceries for us, also for Muaz. Yesterday Sayang and I went to rumah Gombak, to visit Muaz. I hate my mulut gatal. Shen he said he is lack of groceries, I quickly offered myself to get them for him. But now, I was damn lazy to pull up my butt. Nonetheless, I've promised him to brought the groceries. Hence...

Ok, lets lighten up a little with good news:) Rozana, the owner of Esso Sri Rampai told me that my muffin just left one. Quickly grabbing the opportunity, I made one batch of banana muffin. But 2 of them didn't go well.. Hmm... Sadness...

As all of us know, my parents and my parents-in-law are in Mecca, performing their Hajj. It had been few weeks that I didn't hear my father's voice. i called him. I stunned. His voice was different. I know, he is sick! Please don't try to fool me by saying he is fine. It shows them well that isn't.

All of them are going to Arafah tonight, to Ukuf. 'Ya Allah ya Tuhanku! Kau permudahkanlah haji mereka. Kau lindungilah mereka. Hanya padaMu aku meminta. Amin.'

Till then, see you again!

More Baking...

I am a forgetful person. I have to admit. Seriously, how many times I got angry with myself just because I’m a forgetful person. Today was just like another clumsy day for me. I forgot to bring my laptop charger. Damn! And the battery last for less than 30 minutes. I have many things to settle yet I can’t use my laptop. Ok, Plan B, I need you now.

I went to settle my personal issue at 8 am and it finished at 10 am. Then off I go to work. At 11.45am, I was on the road, back to my house. Thinking to take this advantage to settle other business issue, I went to The Face Studio to collect my cookies. The owner, Santhi, said that nobody buying my cookies. It’s ok. It wouldn’t make me down. It means that I have to worker harder, in finding the suitable place for it. Carrefour was my next destination to find the tray to bake muffin, also the container to put my cookies at Cosy Place Wangsa Maju. Took the picture of the container and bought some cooking ingredients, I went to the restaurant. Peter, the owner, was there. He tasted the cookies. ‘You bake this? Wow! Sedap eh.’ I was flattered. He is a chef, had worked at numerous restaurant worldwide and he complimented my cookies. Yay!

After the quick meeting, I went home and started baking muffins. Banana muffins with raisin was my first attempt to his restaurant. And I managed to have a little bit of rest before I went to fetch Sayang and the kids.
For dinner, simple dishes were on the table. Fried fish, sayur pucuk and ikan bilis goring cili api. And another batch of banana muffins for Esso Sri Rampai. Kung Fu Panda 2 was the movie for tonight. Till then, nites sweties.
