Met Gala 2013: Punk! 'Oi! Oi!'

Met Gala is back! The annually ball that much anticipated by celebrities, and people in fashion industries where they parade their look according to the theme. This year theme is Punk: Chaos to Couture. Let us see who gets hit and who miss it!

1. Kim Kardashian

Miss! Its chaotic! She is huge and the print, the length of the dress and the split... all are at the wrong place. Get it off!

2. Miley Cyrus

Hit! And hot! Look at her hair! That style did the talking. Simple look yet so punk!

3. Anne Hathaway

So-so. The dress is elegant. Too elegant for the theme. But Anne's look is saved by the hairstyle. Lucky her!

4. Sarah Jessica Parker

Hit! It is a print dress but it matched to her look! What's up there on your head? It looks weird  but it works!

5. Gwyneth Paltrow

So-so. A safe look, buy hey! Who can blame her. After a rough time a week ago, Gwyneth is on the strategy to cool down. I guess!

6. Gisele Bunchen

Hit! A LBD that I wish I had! One-side-hair is elegant yet demure. The dress is unique. She looks amazing!

7. Kristen Stewart

Hit! Purrrrr!! Sexy yet punky!The hair, make up, the purse... everything is well blend and it suits the theme, as trying to put it at higher level; couture.

8. Nicole Richie

Hit! I wish I have that dress. Although the hair looks horrible to me, but it gives the edgy vibe to her look. 

9. Ashley Olsen

Miss! Did anybody lose their curtain? Perhaps yours is on Ash's body. 

10. Taylor Swift

Hit! Wow! Hot! This dress made Taylor as the new Gwyneth Paltrow. You are smoking, bebeh!

Random: Celebrities and Politicians

Salam all... greetings from Ipoh! How are you today? I'm in Ipoh with my family. It is suppose to be a holiday for me and the kids while Juma is attending some work at UTP. However, we are stuck in the hotel due to no transportation. Juma uses the car to work and with that, we have no car left for us to go around the town, except for waiting him to get back. 

Well, this post is quite random. Let's take a look at what is happening around us. 

1. Nabila Huda and her new boyfriend. 

Who is she? She is an actress and daughter to famous Malaysian rocker, Amy Search. She is a divorcee and her taste in fashion is always a top story in Malaysia celebrity world. Lately, she told the press that she is in love and wants the whole world to see her happiness. But the most foolish mark from her is when she quoted to the media that the guy is not her boyfriend but rather to be call as her soulmate. Wow! That's pretty fast for me to give that title to a person. Let us see how long will this relationship last.

2. Muhammad bin Muhammad Taib  (Mat Taib) joins PAS

Former UMNO vice president and Selangor Menteri Besar has joined PAS, a religious party and comment that although Barisan Nasional had done a lot to Malaysia development, but the party isn't relevant anymore. He also told the press that he wants to see school children (girls) and tv presenter (ladies) to wear head scarf. I totally agree with the idea because keeping our aurat is nothing negotiable. But, look at his daughter. She is a singer and not wearing hijab. So, how are you going to educate others if you fail to educate your own child? But nothing is surprising about the man who hold the name Muhammad twice. He elope late Sultan Selangor's daughter and got married in South Thailand. He also had to stepped down from his Menteri Besar p0st after been arrested in Australia for not declaring the money he brought into the country. How much that he brought in? It was RM3.8 million. It is kind of a lot for a former teacher who left the job to be a politician. Come on PAS! Are you to desperate to conquer Putrajaya till you invite this kind of man to your campaign talk? How sad!

3. Reese Witherspoon lost her coolness

I think she is super talented as an actress and she personally has not much wild gossip surround her from the beginning of her career till last week. It was a surprise that she been arrested along with her hubby. Her husband was charge for driving under influence (DUI) while she... err.. for being rude to the police. Reese, who was drunk during the arrest time was questioning the Atlanta police whether he know her name. Her arrogant behaviour perhaps is her alter ego when she is drunk. Look at how the alcohol could do the damage to you. The good reputation that she built all this while gone at one night, because of the alcohol. That's why Islam doesn't allow Muslim to take alcohol.

4. Celebrities and Gaza

World pities the fate of Palestinians and condemns Israel's attacks towards Palestine. In Malaysia, many initiatives are done in the name of humanity towards Palestinians like donation, education opportunity and so forth. And lately, few celebrities visit Palestine, for many purpose. For documentation shooting, to charity work and for business purposes. That is good because the more people be there, the more exposure the rest will get about Palestine. But what trouble me is the celebrities comment on their feeling when they were there. They said that they feel peaceful when they are in Palestine because the people are redha on what's going on with them and they take it as Allah's test on them. The question is, do you need to get your ass to get the feeling of peaceful and take it as Allah test when you feel down (or high)? I think when you get the concept, you will feel peaceful in anywhere. Peace out!

Leave Her For Me!

Are you married? I am. Are you afraid that other woman (e) might steal your husband away from you? I do. Is my self confident towards my husband is low? No. But why I must be afraid that he might leave me for other woman? Because I'm living in the year that people will do anything to meet their desire. My husband is a stable man in terms of his career, mature and that is what young ladies are looking for. He is not rich but he is in his mid of career and it could cushion those short minded woman. 

Lt's take a look at women who happen to be celebrities, that stole other's husband. 

1. Faezah Elai

The actress denied the rumors that she is in the relationship with a drama director, Heykal. Faezah worked in few drama series directed by Heykal and told the media that the relationship is nothing but professional. The director also gave statement to the media that his marriage is in trouble but it has nothing to do ith Faezah. However, the couple 'surprise' the media with their engagement news after the director divorced his wife. Heykal married Faezah shortly. Faezah and the ex-wife had twitter war, but shame on Faezah. The not-so-pretty-and-talented actress put herself at the very low level when she frighten the ex-wife that she will reveals unnecessary pictures of her if the ex-wife continue tweeting about Faezah.

2. Siti Nurhaliza

Indeed, she did that! Khalid Jiwa was still married to Tengku Zawiyah when he started courting Siti Nurhaliza. Siti Nurhaliza allegedly said that she isn't the third person of Khalid Jiwa and wife's separation. However, from the sources we knew that Siti Nurhaliza told Khalid to choose between she or Tengku Zawiyah. And of course Khalid chose the young, beautiful, rich and famous singer and left the wife. The wife was the one that helped him financially when he started his business. The wife that made him from nobody to somebody. Unfortunately, he prefers Siti Nurhaliza and choose to forget the memories including the deeds that the ex-wife did to him.

3. Memey Suhaiza

Malaysia been shocked with the news on the upcoming actress, Memey Suhaiza and a married actor, Norman Hakim have been arrested for close-proximity (khalwat) in Norman's office. Norman who was still married to singer-actress, Abby Abadi at that time. Abby was heavily pregnant of their third child when the incident happened. Abby was furious with the news, attacked Norman at the shooting locaion. Abby wasn't alone as she brought several reporters as the witness of the incident. They finally divorced. Norman and Memey got hitched and have a daughter together. Abby made peace with Memey when she invited Memey and Norman to her house for iftar. Abby also visited Memey and the baby, shortly after Memey welcomed her daughter. Alhamdullillah!

4. Watie Sadali

The problem actress was having an affair with her co-star, Joey. Joey who was still married at that time, neglected his wife and children while was in love with Watie. Joey chose to leave his family and marry Watie.  Joey's ex-wife gave a piece of advise to the artiste to stop having affairs with other's husband.

There are more celebrities who have talent and bright future, but choose to destroy other's happiness to build theirs. Hopefully we don't be selfish at a point and may Allah prevent this from happening to my family. Amin.

Nice blue dress, covering the arms, showing some legs. The material itself is divine.

I'm starting to get bored with her hairdo. Can she take the challenge to wear different style of hair? The dress is great, just take it is a normal look of Salma; something tight that can show off her body. Boring!

Guliana Rancic

I think she was late for the red carpet. She didn't find time to done her hair. She was out from bath, put on a dress was given free to her and dash to the red carpet. I bet she did her make-up in the car, on the way to the event!

Amanda Seyfried

The style of the dress, the material of it, with classic hairstyle, Amanda looks gorgeous. Perhaps she wants it not to look crowded, therefore not much accessories on her. But I think it will zest up her look with a bracelet, perhaps diamond bracelet. However, she looks stunning, as usual.

Zoe Saldana

I love this dress! Can I have it, free? Look at the details at the chest. Look at the shade of colors at the bottom of the dress; from white to black. Look at the waist, the belt made the dress more interesting. Zoe is smart by adding the chandelier earring to her Oscar look. 

Reese Witherspoon

Hmm.. I expect more from you, Reese. The dress looks ill-fitting. It didn't cup her breasts well. The tummy area looks so messy. Argh! It looks un-finish to me!

Catherine Zeta-Jones

You look like a drag queen, Miss Jones! Please hire a new make-up artist, and advise your current want to change her career! The dress, owh, its a sore to my eyes! Yikes!

Jennifer Garner

I forgive her hairdo, though I'm kind of bored with it already. The dress save you, Mrs Affleck. Gorgeous dress with nice details at the back. Beautiful color too. And the necklace, oh, so breathtaking.

Oh my! So classic! You look pretty, young lady. I'm speechless when I look at you. The hair, the makeup, the dress; everything matches!

Kristen Stewart

Your Oscar look is match with your acting talent, which is worthless. The dress is ugly as it looks like pillow case. Argh! Just get out from the Hollywood scene, please!

Sandra Bullock

The dress is heavily beaded. Too heavy for me. Can you show effort on your hair? I think it will give a better justify to the dress if Sandy pull up the hair and pin it. 

Jennifer Aniston

Effortlessly beautiful! Gorgeous dress, nice hairdo, simple yet chic accessories and nice candy arm!

Amy Adam

At last, I found somebody who tried. Gorgeous dress, as prestige as the award. The bracelet and earrings spice up her look. The hair is simple but matches Amy's style for the night.
